OpenOffice.org is a free productivity suite compatible with all major office suites such as Microsoft Office.
Power
Point Viewer -
Download to view Microsoft Office Power-Point presentations
v97-2003 if you do not have the full version
of Power-Point.
Adobe
Acrobat Reader - Download the reader to view
files written in the pdf format. The full version
of Adobe Acrobat is required to create pdfs.
WinRAR Compression Utility -
WinRAR can open zip archives as well as many other compression formats. Use the evalution
version for free, but you will only be able to open
archives and will not
be able to create any.
- Windows XP can open zip archives, but cannot create them.

Microsystem's Java
- Download the latest version of Java. Many websites require Java to be
installed.
Apple's
Quicktime -
Download the latest version of Quicktime. Many websites
require Quictime for streaming and viewing Macintosh
media file types.
Mozilla
Internet Browser - Download the latest version
of Mozilla FireFox. Recommended for most internet browsing.
Microsoft
Internet Explorer
- Download the latest version of Intenet Explorer. This is especially
recommended for use with WebCT Vista and WebCT.
Netscape
Internet Browser - Download the latest version
of Netscape Navigator. Netscape.com is now an internet service provider (isp) and Netscape Navigator is a shell of Mozilla in the same way as AOL IE and MSN IE are shells of Internet Explorer.
